Natalija Trivic was born in 1980 in Banja Luka. She graduated at the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Banja Luka in the Department of Journalism. She holds a Master’s Degree in Dramatic Arts and Media at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts, University of Belgrade, where she is attending the 3rd year of doctoral studies at the Department of Culture and Media Management.
She completed her 17-year career in the media as Director of the Television of Republika Srpska, after which she led the Marketing Directorate of “Optima Group”. She has successfully performed the duties of the Advisor to the Minister for Economic Relations and Regional Cooperation in the Government of the Republic of Srpska.
In the local elections in 2016, the trust and votes of the citizens elected her to the Assembly of the City of Banja Luka, and then she was appointed Head of the Department for Culture, Tourism and Social Policy.
In the general elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2018, she was elected deputy in the National Assembly of Republika Srpska. In December 2018, with the decision of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, she was elected Minister of Education and Culture of Republika Srpska.
She is married and has two sons.
