Sejfudin Čengić was born in 1957 in Milino, Macedonia. He completed the Technical traffic secondary school in Sarajevo as well as the Faculty of Political Science. In 1991 he completed Specialist Postgraduate Study Program in the field of Business Management and in 2008 he obtained master degree from the Faculty of Economics in Sarajevo.
He started professional career in the Municipality of Novo Sarajevo (1979 – 1982) where he worked as a Professional Associate responsible for the work and functioning of the Community Bodies. Since 1982-1991 he has been working in the company „Centrotrans – Unutrašnji Transport Sarajevo“ as a secretary and then as a general director. Since 1991, he has been employed by the company „Centrotrans – Eurolines Sarajevo“, where he has been a Director of the Business Center, Director of Traffic Company, Director of Marketing and Executive Director of the Company. Since 2010 he is General Director of the Company.
His outstanding prizes and awards include Lifetime Achievement Award (2017), Manager of the Decade in BiH (2015), Gold Plaque with the Badge of the International Humanist League (2009) and Person of the Year in the field of Economy n BiH (2006). Currently, he is President of FBiH Employer Association at the Foreign Trade Chamber of BiH. He is author of numerous scientific papers, studies and monographs.
