HK$200.8 Million Chinese New Year Raceday And Jackpot (Duo Bao Jiang)
The prize fund of the Hong Kong Jockey Club’s HK$200.8 million Chinese New Year raceday was topped up with the additional Jackpot (Duo Bao Jiang) to give a total of HK$20.8 million in prize money. The Jackpot is a special pool added to the merged Triple Trio, Quartet and First 4 pools, in which bettors can take part for a chance to win the top prize, if their tickets are among the lucky ones.
The organisers of the Hong Kong International Development Prize are calling on the public to submit innovative ideas for a Hong Kong official development assistance program. The winner of the competition will receive HK$5,000 in prize money. The prize is a non-governmental merit award sponsored by the Hong Kong Alliance of Technology and Innovation and Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited.

As the prize money for a winner of a Hong Kong Film Award has been cut by 54%, this year’s winners were fewer than usual. Despite this, kung fu smash hit Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In was still crowned as best film at the 43rd Hong Kong Film Awards on Sunday evening.
In a move to promote the city’s latest developments on the mainland and overseas regions, Hong Kong SAR Government Secretary Lee Cheuk-yan said that Hong Kong is making every effort to showcase its robust economic recovery and ambitious initiatives for global talent attraction. He urged the media to cast a spotlight on these developments, which he believes will boost local residents’ confidence and offer greater impetus for society to move forward.
