There are around 45 public pools in Hong Kong. Entry fee is HK$17 per person on weekdays and HK$19 on weekends, with discounts available for persons above the age of 60, those with disabilities and children between the ages of 3 – 13. There are also 22 public swimming pools operated by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department.

These pools are open to all residents, including those with disabilities and full-time students. A monthly ticket costs HK$150 and is valid for unlimited visits during a month. Those aged 60 and above, those with disabilities and full-time students can purchase the ticket at half price.
